The Lodge
 

The Lodge is a fully furnished purpose built centre for Brownie/Guide Holidays or Guider Trainings.

 
Dining/Activity/Meeting Room
 
  • Equipped with tables and chairs
  • Complete with cork tiled area to pin posters/notices.

The Hall enters out onto the camping field where there is plenty of room for outdoor activities.
 
Kitchen
  • 2 ovens with 8 cook plates
  • a grill toaster
  • microwave oven
  • fridge/freezer
  • fully equipped cupboards with mixing bowls, trays etc.
 
Dormitory
  • Carpeted room sleeps 20 (in bunk beds)
  • Sprung mattresses and blankets provided
  • Visitors should bring their own sleeping bag / duvet, pillow, bottom sheet and blanket if required.
 
Leaders Room
  • Sleeps 4 (in bunk beds)
  • First Aid bed/camp bed stored under bunks
  • En suite toilet and shower room.
 
Washing
  • 2 washrooms: one with 3 toilets and 2 wash basins, plus special needs toilet and shower; second one has 4 wash basins and 2 showers.
 
Note: Toilet Rolls and First Aid Equipment are not provided.

The Waterhole (next to the tuck shop) is available for use during the day.
 
Bunk House

Both, those on pack holiday and those camping can hire the bunk house. It consists of a bunk bed, shower and toilet.  There is room for a third person using a camp bed if required.

Fire drills should be carried out soon after arrival at the lodge.

Fees

Equipped: £9.00 per person per 24 hours for GGA Members. Day visitors £2.00 per person.

Deposits

Day: £10:00
Per 24 hour period: £25:00

All deposits are non refundable.

Payment is by cash or cheque only.

For educational establishments bookings please contact the booking secretary for charges.

 
Arrival/Departures

At the weekend please arrange to arrive on Fridays after 4pm and leave on Sundays by 6pm. Any alternative times should be arranged through the Site Manager or Booking Secretary

If you have booked a supermarket delivery please advise us of the DELIVERY time.

 
A Committee Member will see you on and off the site.
 
Keys
On arrival you will be handed the keys to the Lodge – these must be returned to the Committee Member before you leave. Please lock the main gates at night.
 
Activity
Available for your use is a supply of games equipment, balls, ropes, hoops etc as well as basketball, rounders and volleyball.

The ‘Hideaway’ found just in side the woods is a nature activity centre and provides a variety of books and equipment.
 
Electricity
This is currently included within the fees
 
Insurance
Cherry Green Trees Joint Committee can not accept any responsibility for the loss or damage to any personal property.
 
Parking
Parking in car park only unless permission has been given to park on the field.
