Cherry Green Trees

COVID-19 STATEMENT

Cherry Green Trees is now temporarily closed until further notice

As you will have seen, new measures announced by the UK Government on 16 March 2020 around Coronavirus (Covid-19) advise against all non-essential travel and social contact. As a result, we have taken the decision to close Cherry Green Trees campsite until further notice.
All event and site bookings will be suspended until further notice. We will be reviewing this periodically in light of advice from the government and will update you accordingly.

We are sorry for the inconvenience and ask you to check back for further updates.
Thank you again for your patience in these exceptional circumstances.

Welcome to Cherry Green Trees

Cherry Green Trees is a PRIVATE camp site belonging to Finchley and Friern Barnet and Southgate Division Guides. The site is located near Colney Heath in Hertfordshire and has 9 acres of land, split between 4 acres of meadowland and 5 acres of woodland. The site was donated to North Middlesex Division by Herminie Eckstein in March 1934 when it became known as Cherry Green Trees.

Cherry has a beautiful bluebell wood and each year when the bluebells are out we invite the general public and friends to come along and have a stroll through the wood, find out a little more about the site as well as have a cup of tea/coffee and cake.

Cherry Green Trees is managed by a group of volunteers who run Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and the Rangers groups. We provide a unique girl-only environment where you can be comfortable just being yourself, whilst exploring the activities, issues and possibilities that are available to girls today.

We welcome members and supporters from all inclusive organisations from within the Community.
