Welcome to Cherry Green Trees

Cherry Green Trees is a camp site belonging to Finchley and Friern Barnet and Southgate Division Guides. The site is located near Colney Heath in Hertfordshire and has 9 acres of land, split between 4 acres of meadowland and 5 acres of woodland. The site was donated to North Middlesex Division by Herminie Eckstein in March 1934 when it became known as Cherry Green Trees.

Cherry has a beautiful bluebell wood and each year when the bluebells are out we invite the general public and friends to come along and have a stroll through the wood, find out a little more about the site as well as have a cup of tea/coffee and cake.

Cherry Green Trees is managed by a group of volunteers who run Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and the Senior Section groups. We provide a unique girl-only environment where you can be comfortable just being yourself, whilst exploring the activities, issues and possibilities that are available to girls today. We welcome members and supporters from all cultures and socio-economic backgrounds.

Cherry Green Trees is an inclusive  organisation which welcomes enquiries from all groups within the Community.
